Jaunty Supercharged with EXT4

The people over at Softpedia have tested the latest alpha build of Jaunty and have managed to boot their system in 21.4 seconds. As you may know, the latest build comes with the recently released stable version of EXT4. The same setup with the older EXT3 booted in 24.5 seconds, which is still less than the 26.8 seconds it took to boot up Intrepid. You can check out all the details over at Softpedia. Looks like Jaunty and EXT4 are living up to expectations in terms of speed. This is still early days for Jaunty, hopefully things will be even faster...
